Swimming Career Highlights
Really competitive swimmers are never satisfied, but I've had some pretty good races during my career. I started out as a YMCA age-group club swimmer. Below are a few races that stand out in my mind. There have been many memorable team, relay and individual events.
Beijing Olympics Gold medal and WR in 400 freestyle relay; Gold medal in 400 medley relay.
2008 US Olympic Trials 50 and 100 Freestlyes, first place with American Record of 21.47 in the 50 and a time of 47.92 in the 100. (47.78 AR in prelims. First American to break 48.)
2008 American Long Course Championships LCM 50, 100 and 200 at 21.93, 48.50 and 1:49.06 respectively.
US National Team World Championship, Melbourne, Australia 4 X 100 Relay in 2007: 49.40.
